Amanda Seyfried didn’t want her mother to see her kiss Megan Fox.

The blonde star was mortified when her parents insisted on watching Jennifer’s Body, in which Amanda and Megan share a steamy encounter.

She said: “My mom and dad have just seen a film of mine with nudity. My mom saw me have sex with two different types of people on screen. She knows it’s acting but it’s not necessarily OK with me.

“It was difficult when my mom sat down with me to watch Jennifer’s Body.”

Today is Jennifer’s Body day! The movie hits North American cinemas. I’m so excited and about to head out to check out the film myself, you should do the same! To celebrate here’s a lot of posters and stills from the movie.

There are mixed reviews for Jennifer’s Body flowing in, but either way I’m still dying to see this one! It seems everyone seems to be saying it works better as a comedy than a horror film, but it’s not being marketed that way. I really wish people would see is it’s meant to be both. The horror-only marketing is something that seems done by the company (which is why Diablo Cody released a red band trailer which is much lighter and showcasing the humor) I always felt it seems more of that witty dark humor from classic horror films I loved. But it’s obviously open for interpretation.

But again, this film feels more like a comedy than it does a contemporary horror movie, and I’m sure those who might end up liking Jennifer’s Body, will appreciate the humor over the scares/gore.

Today was the world premiere of Jennifer’s Body at the Toronto Film Festival. Amanda and her co-stars Megan Fox and Adam Brody were all in attendance and looked beautiful. Amanda a wore Valentino Fall 2009 Couture dress. At the press conference she dawned a Stella McCartney 2010 Resort dress and Jimmy Choo’s. My favorite look of Amanda’s was the latter. The latest issue of Empire features the first set of stills featuring Amanda Seyfried in the Karyn Kusama directed/Diablo Cody written horror-comedy Jennifer’s Body! I am really dying to see this movie, these stills made my day! The movie releases September 18, 2009.

When a gorgeous cheerleader is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a small Minnesota farming town, her “plain Jane” best friend must kill her, then escape from a correctional facility to go after the Satan-worshipping rock band responsible for the horrible transformation.

Actress Megan Fox recently gave MTV a bit of information about Jennifer’s Body which is coming out soon and also stars Amanda. Anybody who is excited for the film should check it out for a bit of information about the characters and plot.

“I’m a man-eater. I eat boys. I’m sort of a zombie, but not really. I get improperly sacrificed [and it possesses me]… my character is a frighteningly vapid high school girl who’s captain of her flag team.”

“She gets improperly sacrificed by Adam Brody’s band, who have sold their souls to Satan in order to get a record deal,” Fox laughed. “And what happens when you improperly sacrifice someone is the victim gets taken over by a demon. They thought I was a virgin — and I was not a virgin.”

ComingSoon.net reports, 20th Century Fox has set a September 18, 2009 release date for Jennifer’s Body, starring Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Simmons, Adam Brody and J.K. Simmons. The horror comedy was written by Diablo Cody (Juno) and directed by Karyn Kusama.

In the film, a gorgeous cheerleader (Fox) is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a small Minnesota farming town. Her “plain Jane” best friend must kill her, then escape from a correctional facility to go after the Satan-worshipping rock band responsible for the horrible transformation.

The Vomit shot out of Megan Fox like water from a geyser. A ghastly movie concoction that looked like a mix of used motor oil, lawn clippings and the slag at the bottom of a Souplantation trash bin, the black puke sprayed actors Amanda Seyfried and Johnny Simmons, whose characters were doing their best to fight off a cannibalistic fiend, an otherwise popular cheerleader named Jennifer Check.

It was among the more gothic scenes in Jennifer’s Body, a closing battle with fewer rules than Ultimate Fighting, pitting Jennifer (Transformer’s Fox) against her longtime friend Needy Lesnicky (Seyfried, of Mamma Mia!) and her relatively wimpy boyfriend Chip Dove (Evan Almighty’s Simmons). The movie’s swimming pool location, inside a derelict juvenile hall slated to become a hospital for British Columbia’s criminally insane, was forbidding in its own right. The flotsam in the pool’s filthy water — leaves, a wheelchair, beer cans — made the entire setting for the film stomach-turning, especially since the young actors had to swim in it.
