On Amanda’s IMDb.com page it says she’s in the talks for the Disney movie Cinderella, that will be released in 2013. I found this article at Aceshowbiz.com with some information about the movie itself…

A fairy tale princess will come to life should Disney move forward with its plan creating a live action version of “Cinderella”. Deadline is reporting that there has been a surge of interest in adapting classics into live action since the success of “Alice in Wonderland”. Disney is not one to fall behind the trend.

A 7-figure deal is currently made for a project which will be led by Aline Brosh McKenna in the writing department. McKenna is known as the scribe of romcoms such as “The Devil Wears Prada” and “27 Dresses”. Meanwhile, “Jumper” and “X-Men: First Class” producer Simon Kinberg will back up the project. Together they have once worked on the production rewrite of “Date Night”.

The classic version of “Cinderella” is first made by Disney in 1950, telling the story of an unfortunate girl dreaming of a prince. The story has been adapted as a spine in a number of feature films such as “Ever After” and “A Cinderella Story”. However, it is not yet known whether this live-action version will bend from its original story or whether it would be made in 3-D.

Seyfried Says She Has Stopped “Having Expectations”

Amanda Seyfried says she has stopped “having expectations” because she has had her heart broken too many times before.

The 24-year-old actress never lets herself think about the future because she has found that even a “tiny spark of expectation” can leave her devastated when things don’t turn out the way she had planned. She now just “jumps into” things without considering them so she isn’t “intimidated” by the prospect of failure.

“I never have expectations anymore. I stopped having expectations as a teenager because of, you know, heartbreak. And disappointment,” she explained. “I’m intimidated so much of the time. And I’ve learned that even a tiny spark of expectation, is so wrong.

“You just have to go into whatever is. But I end up being too intimidated. So I just came in with that attitude. I just didn’t want to be intimidated. Because it hinders me so much.”

Amanda can next be seen in upcoming romantic comedy Letters to Juliet, which is about an American student who finds love during a holiday to Italy. The film also stars Mexican heartthrob Gael Garcia Bernal and Vanessa Redgrave and their involvement made Amanda desperate to sign up.

“It’s funny; it’s not the type of movie I would normally want to do because it’s pretty broad, and light,” she explained to Irish film website movies.ie. “But it became so much more for me, especially after Vanessa Redgrave signed on. Even though it’s just this romantic movie.”

Amanda Seyfried No Kissing Fan

Amanda Seyfried is not a fan of kissing her co-stars on movie sets, claiming it is ”really annoying”.

The 24-year-old actress – who is currently in an on/off relationship with British hunk Dominic Cooper – admits she hates locking lips with her colleagues for film storylines and would rather save these “intimate” gestures for personal moments.

She said: “I had to kiss eight guys in one weekend. I was screen testing for the two characters that are playing opposite me. It’s really annoying – an intimate thing you have to do with people you don’t want to be intimate with.”

However, the pretty blonde star was able to see the funny side of it when film bosses teased her about kissing session by sending her an amusing package.

She laughed: “As a joke, the studio sent me a basket containing Listerine mouthwash and Tic Tac mints.”

The actress has had a busy few months with five films being release since the beginning of 2009.

However, Amanda is determined not to become typecast into a role.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I’m never going to be on one path. ‘Dear John‘ and ‘Letters To Juliet‘ were shot about a year apart but are coming out in the same four-month period. That was a mistake.”

Amanda Seyfried: ‘I insulted DiCaprio’

Amanda Seyfried has said that she insulted Leonardo DiCaprio by asking him to play her father in her new film.

The actress, who is filming the DiCaprio-produced The Girl in the Red Riding Hood, was however rejected by the actor.

“Unfortunately he’s not in it. I asked him if he would play my dad but he got insulted!” she told The Mirror. “He said, ‘I don’t do male leads in love stories anymore’. And I said, ‘I wasn’t talking about the male leads, I was talking about my dad. You’re what, 35? Age yourself up a bit!’”

The Dear John star also revealed that because of her shyness, she once blanked Harrison Ford when they were stuck in a lift together.

“I can’t connect to fame yet. One day I will – when I get used to it. You know, I was in an elevator with Harrison Ford and in order to respect his privacy, I didn’t even look at him, which was really stupid of me. Why not say something like, ‘Hey dude, I grew up with you. You’re amazing. Nice to meet you’. Why can’t I say that? I don’t know. I was nervous.”

Amanda Seyfried Leads Best Scared-As-Sh– Nominees

Zombies, hell, ghosts, man-eaters and aliens — these are a few of our favorite things, and they left Alison Lohman, Sharlto Copley, Katie Featherston, Jesse Eisenberg and Amanda Seyfried frightened beyond belief and competing for the Best Scared-As-Sh– Performance at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.

Sharlto Copley may have been able to fend off aliens in “District 9,” but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will be able to fight off his fellow nominees, none of whom happen to be aliens. (At least we don’t think so.)

Will Katie Featherston finally be able to enjoy a good night’s sleep after a possible win for her turn in “Paranormal Activity”?

Fighting zombies isn’t easy — so after staving off those annoying undead, flesh-eating creatures in “Zombieland,” will Jesse Eisenberg still have the strength to keep his competition at bay?

Although a lot of people would love for Megan Fox to chase after them, her “Jennifer’s Body” co-star Amanda Seyfried wished she could get her human-eating pal off her back. However, on Sunday, Seyfried herself will be chasing after the Golden Popcorn.

Alison Lohman went to hell and back in “Drag Me to Hell,” which was more than enough to prepare her for a possible trip to the Gibson Amphitheatre stage to collect an award.

Don’t miss the live red-carpet coverage, exclusive movie clips and fist-pumping action on MTV News’ “Jersey Shore Blow-Out at the MTV Movie Awards,” airing live from Los Angeles this Sunday, June 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Then stay tuned for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Amanda Seyfried turns up not ending her romance with her “Mamma Mia!” co-star Dominic Cooper. During a recent interview with Heat magazine, the 24-year-old actress said, “No. It’s not that at all,” when asked if there is “trouble in paradise”.

Seyfried further asked fans not to read too much comments she made in a Teen Vogue magazine interview. She, at that time, sparked speculations that she wasn’t sure about her future with Cooper as she revealed, “I don’t know if Dominic’s ‘The One’.”

During the interview, Seyfried also admitted that she had waited for a year-and-a-half until Cooper was ready for a relationship with her. “I waited around. I was pretty desperate for a while, to get this guy, and it finally happened,” she confessed.

Seyfried Competing for Role in P.T. Anderson’s Next Film

More details on the potential cast for Paul Thomas Anderson’s forthcoming untitled Scientology drama are surfacing as it gears up for a shoot this summer. Last week we reported that Reese Witherspoon had been offered the role of the Master’s wife Mary-Sue, who acts as his caretaker and vigilant lieutenant. This week, the print edition of Production Weekly reveals that Amanda Seyfried, Emma Stone and Deborah Ann Woll are all being considered for the role of Elizabeth, The Master and Mary-Sue’s daughter.

We reviewed the script for the film that was floating around earlier this year and while the role of the daughter is a small one (though that could’ve changed), it also does have some pretty salacious bits (that we won’t spoil here) which will be an eye opener for any fans of the actress who lands the role.

So who will land it? It’s hard to say. Seyfried seems like least likely candidate only because she is set to shoot Catherine Hardwicke’s “Girl With The Riding Hood” this summer and depending on when Anderson’s film goes in front of cameras, scheduling alone could take her out of the running.
