There are mixed reviews for Jennifer’s Body flowing in, but either way I’m still dying to see this one! It seems everyone seems to be saying it works better as a comedy than a horror film, but it’s not being marketed that way. I really wish people would see is it’s meant to be both. The horror-only marketing is something that seems done by the company (which is why Diablo Cody released a red band trailer which is much lighter and showcasing the humor) I always felt it seems more of that witty dark humor from classic horror films I loved. But it’s obviously open for interpretation.

But again, this film feels more like a comedy than it does a contemporary horror movie, and I’m sure those who might end up liking Jennifer’s Body, will appreciate the humor over the scares/gore.

Today was the world premiere of Jennifer’s Body at the Toronto Film Festival. Amanda and her co-stars Megan Fox and Adam Brody were all in attendance and looked beautiful. Amanda a wore Valentino Fall 2009 Couture dress. At the press conference she dawned a Stella McCartney 2010 Resort dress and Jimmy Choo’s. My favorite look of Amanda’s was the latter. Yesterday Amanda Seyfried attended the Toronto Film Festival premiere of Ad Education which stars Carrey Mulligan. Miss Amanda looked beautiful in a magenta colored dress and black heels.

Amanda Seyfried received the Film Actress of the Year at award at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards which were held in London a few days ago. The award was given to her by Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick.

Amanda looked stunning in a multi-coloured satin dress from the Peter Pilotto Fall 2009 collection, which was gathered in an interesting series of drapes on either side of her hip. Her eye make-up was moody but the overall effect was softened with her wavy blonde hair. To finish off the star added a sassy pair of Gladiator heels. The actress, who was accompanied by boyfriend Dominic Cooper, said she loved her dress and didn’t want to give it back!

Boogie Woogie will make it’s premiere at the 2009 Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland this June.

The first of many Oscar updates; pictures galore!

Amanda Seyfried was the epitome of glamour in an orange Valentino Spring 2009 Couture dress, accessorized with jewels and a gold clutch. Her shiny blonde locks were worn down and wavy—reminiscent of Old Hollywood beauty Veronica Lake. Absolutely stunning!

The The 81st Annual Academy Awards are moments away and Amanda Seyfried was recently photographed on the red carpet looking absolutely stunning in an orange gown and her hair in classic waves, reminiscent of old Hollywood!

Amanda introduced a “Romances in 2008″ montage clip with Robert Pattinson and performaned in big broadway style with Beyonce, Hugh Jackman, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron. They sang classic songs from film. Her first song was “Lady Marmalade”.

Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper of Mamma Mia! will take the stage as performers at this Sunday’s Oscars!

Beyoncé is also performing during the ceremony as well as Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) and Anna Hathaway is opening the show.

The 81st Academy Awards will air on ABC at 8PM on Sunday, February 22 from the the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.

I have added plenty more pictures from the The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards and the season three premiere of Big Love. Amanda Seyfried wore a navy Chloe Fall 2008 dress with Jimmy Choo cage sandals at the premiere. At the Globes Amanda wore a Stella McCartney gown. It’s caused a bit of a “fashion faceoff” with Salma Hayek who wore the dress previously at an event last year. I do prefer Amanda’s more modern take vs. the retro one Salma went with, but both ladies look fabulous and that’s really all that matters!

Last night in Hollywood was the premiere for HBO’s Big Love third season. Amanda was there along with the rest of her on air family. I have added the first pictures from the event. I truly can’t wait for the show to premiere this Sunday!
